Abstract

Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer across the globe causing higher numbers of mortality. There are both modifiable and non modifiable risk factors associated with its occurrence. It is curable if diagnosed at an early stage. Present review article was shown with analysis and comparison of methodology and results of six researches conducted. It is found that being physically active and doing regular exer- cise helped in reducing the risk of breast cancer. Similarly, a healthy diet also plays an equally important role in reducing the chances of developing breast cancer. All the researches and studies presented have epidemiological evidence about how a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness and exercise and diet can affect breast cancer and post treatment life as well. Therefore it can be concluded that no matter due to which reason breast cancer is caused, risk can be reduced by following a healthy lifestyle and maintaining an ideal body weight.
